- 51 Active Degrees of Freedom Fifty-one active joints deliver highly anthropomorphic whole-body movement across the torso, arms, legs and head.
- Flexible Waist Articulation The A3 series' signature waist mirrors the rotational and lateral range of the human torso — a clear departure from earlier humanoid designs that treated the torso as a rigid block.
- Full-Size Human Proportions At 1.74 m and 60 kg the robot matches adult human dimensions, so it works in spaces designed for people rather than in spaces adapted for machines.
- Up to Eight Hours of Operation Combined operating time of up to eight hours, aimed at sustained service workflows instead of short demonstration windows.
- Three Power Strategies Direct charging, rapid battery replacement, and fully autonomous charging in which the robot returns to its charging point and docks without human involvement.
- NVIDIA Thor Computing and Outdoor Positioning NVIDIA Thor onboard computing paired with a full outdoor-capable positioning suite, so deployment is not confined to indoor spaces.
Description
The AgiBot A3 Ultra is a full-size humanoid robot developed by AgiBot (AGIBOT Innovation Shanghai Technology Co., Ltd., also known as Zhiyuan Robotics), the Shanghai-based embodied AI company. Unveiled on 18 July 2026 at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai, the A3 Ultra is the flagship of a four-product launch and sits at the top tier of the company's A3 Expedition series.
It was designed around a philosophy that AgiBot co-founder and CTO Peng Zhihui stated openly at the launch: embodied AI should be judged not by whether a robot can complete an impressive demonstration once, but by whether it can be manufactured, delivered and integrated reliably into real operating environments. The A3 Ultra is engineered accordingly — for long-duration work in public-facing, commercial and service settings rather than for a stage.
The robot stands 1.74 metres (5.7 feet) tall and weighs 60 kilograms, matching adult human dimensions so it can work naturally in spaces built for people: retail floors, hotel lobbies, exhibition halls, transport hubs and office campuses. Its 51 active degrees of freedom deliver highly anthropomorphic whole-body movement, building on the A3 series' signature flexible waist articulation, which mirrors the rotational and lateral range of the human torso rather than treating it as a rigid block. Onboard computing is handled by NVIDIA Thor.
Where many humanoids are limited to short demonstration windows, the A3 Ultra targets sustained service workflows with up to eight hours of combined operating time. It supports three complementary power strategies — direct charging, rapid battery replacement, and fully autonomous charging in which the robot returns to its charging point and docks without human involvement — so a single unit or a fleet can stay in service through a working day. A full outdoor-capable positioning suite extends that work beyond the building.
Every unit is sourced new through established distribution channels and arrives with the full manufacturer warranty. Robotix Market ships worldwide; after-sales support is coordinated with AgiBot's service network, and no on-site installation or commissioning is included.

Frequently Asked Questions
It is a full-size humanoid robot built for long-duration work in public-facing, commercial and service settings — retail floors, hotel lobbies, exhibition halls, transport hubs and office campuses. Its adult-human proportions let it operate in spaces designed for people, and its outdoor-capable positioning suite extends that beyond the building.
AgiBot lists up to eight hours of combined operating time. Three power strategies are supported: direct charging, rapid battery replacement, and fully autonomous charging in which the robot returns to its charging point and docks without any human involvement — which is what allows a unit or a fleet to stay on a service rota.
The A3 series uses an articulated waist that mirrors the rotational and lateral range of the human torso, rather than treating the torso as a rigid block as earlier humanoid designs did. Combined with 51 active degrees of freedom, it gives the robot a far more natural whole-body reach and posture range.
